À l’extérieur de La Criée, devant l’entrée du centre d’art, au sommet d’un mât un homme veille et contemple la ville.</p> « Installé sur une plateforme d’un mètre quatre‑vingt‑dix de long sur un mètre de large, je séjourne une semaine en totale autonomie. À ce radeau des cimes, je suis attaché par une ligne de vie ainsi que tout le matériel embarqué à bord : un sac waterproof, une trousse de premiers secours, les repas pour une semaine, deux jerricans de neuf litres, un rouge et un blanc, un bidon étanche, des sacs‑poubelle, un réchaud à gaz, du matériel de cuisine, deux briquets, du papier toilette, des vêtements de rechange, un sac de couchage haute montagne, un sursac de couchage de protection contre la pluie, une cape de pluie, un tapis de couchage, une lampe frontale, un harnais d’escalade, une ligne de vie, une dizaine de mousquetons, une corde de treize mètres. » <p class="notes">Abraham Poincheval</p> Depuis plus de dix ans Abraham Poincheval invente des expériences itinérantes ou sédentaires pour découvrir le monde sous des angles encore inexplorés.
