<p class="chapeau">Correspondances is a project of exchanges, a special partnership during the artistic season which contents guided tours at La Criée, meetings with art professionnals, experimental workshops and the creation of a blog and a print edition with artists and a graphic designer.</p>
Based on the artistic program of the art centre, this project is made for already constituted groups (young or adults) who want to be included in a project of creation which solicits actively their participation. Above all, the aim is to discover, to share, to be initiated on contemporary art, directly in touch with works and art professionals.
Correspondances is also a multimedia edition as a blog – both platform of exchanges and experimental space – and a print edition designed by Marion Kueny and handed to each participant at the end of the year.
Designed from the concepts discussed during the visits, the 2013 project proposes to explore the digital creation, through a blog, a web-TV, the practice of photography, video and writing in connection with the artist Klaus Fruchtnis.
From the artistic program of the La Criée, the project declines different thematic entries: the figure of pioneer, spaces and territories in resonance with the exhibition <em>sleeping sickness</em> of Pratchaya Phinthong, democracy, Europe and transmission in connection with the exhibition project <em>Two lines of life</em>…
Guided tours and workshops are an opportunity to create connections between arts, social science and studies and to tackle notions of identities, borders, migrations and intercultural exchanges.
Each project is developed in cooperation with partners and is adapted to the age of participants.
