Il porte un regard poétique sur l’Inde en photographiant les écoles de Kathakali — travail sensuel des corps, satiné du grain de la peau ; les entraînements de Kalarippayatt — tension de la lutte, respect du maître ; ou les paysages — récolte du riz, marché aux vaches, envol de corbeaux. Il est difficile de l’évaluer, il peut paraître très long mais être en réalité très bref, c’est ce moment où chacun se retrouve face à soi, comme devant un miroir mental. Moment de gêne jusqu’à ce que le silence fasse sens. Puis vient l’instant fugace, invisible — seconde qui se fige sur le papier photographique.
